Penny Thompson
Penny Thompson has been appointed as the Program
Coordinator for the Rural Autism Program in
Forest-Warren Counties. This program,
sponsored by the Barber National Institute, offers services and
resources to children and families for
the diagnosis and treatment of autism
For the past five year, Penny has been involved
in early intervention services for infants and
toddlers, most recently serving as coordinator
for the Venango County Early Intervention Program.
Her previous experience includes serving as
director of the Easter Seal Society,
Venango County Division.

Melanie Augenstein
Melanie Augenstein provides clerical support
for the Forest-Warren Early Identification
and Treatment Center. She previously held a
position as the Assistant to the Director of
Training for The Blair Corporation. Augenstein
attended the University of Pittsburgh, Bradford
Campus, and lives in Tidoute, Warren County.
